The Depression Journal
The following is the beginning of my depression journal, which is a journal created to help analyze the thoughts and feelings that lead to the root of my depression. The concept for the depression journal was taken from the book Uncovering Happiness by Elisha Goldstein. The pink chart depicts the main thoughts, emotions, sensations and behaviors that then lead to my becoming depressed. And my top 5 NUTS listed below the chart are the 5 main negative unconscious thoughts I experience before entering a depression loop.
Having mulled over the chart for quite some time, I am now getting a better handle on what triggers my depression, which is enabling me to be able to keep my bad feelings from during into something much worse.
